Looking to take to the streets with chalk to write/color messages of gratitude and appreciation. Areas for this: -hospitals/health clinics doorways and parking areas -grocery stores -post offices -garbage truck parking lots -food pantries -shelters -Pittsburgh river trail -neighborhood sidewalks Messages w/ demands -hotels: house the homeless -government offices: rent moratorium -grocery stores: hazard pay, extended benefits (now and always) this is just a start! I would love to talk with others who would be interested in how we can bring people together and divide up areas! looks like rain Sunday but would love to head out the next nice day we have!

This is a "brainstorm". Checkout the GUIDE for more info.

objected to a criterion (Let's plan for a day when it's supposed to be sunny): Thursday morning looks like the first best day! And that way it could last until the weekend.

Thursday morning is supposed to be sunny and 57. That way it could last until the weekend for more exposure. We could put this out to different mutual aid groups and networks throughout Pittsburgh and have folks gather chalk and then have pickups for where that can happen OR people could buy chalk themselves and then go out? What do we think? I know someone who has 80 boxes of think chalk to start!
